The Licensing Executives Society Japan (LESJ) is a group of experts on intellectual property and licensing including corporate managers, private practitioners and academics. LESJ was founded in 1972 with only 14 members and has grown to a membership of more that 700. We regularly hold events such as monthly seminars and annual meetings, and organize 13 working groups on various themes. We publish a quarterly newsletter, LES Japan News, in the Japanese language, and an English newsletter entitled "WINDS from Japan.
